Axel’s young years were centered around something crucial in the making of a decent human being — empathy. Paired with passion for storytelling in all forms in his family’s household, it’s no wonder that Axel soon became drawn to theatre. Using that strong empathy and emotional intelligence to go beyond the surface of a character, and to tap into what motivates people to do what they do, Axel has infused his own deeper meanings into roles and brought audiences to tears and new insights. He carries with him one simple idea in every production he participates in — that his connection with the audience is what will make or break the character.
